Peer Leadership Training for People with Lived Experience/s of Housing Insecurity and Homelessness
Are you a Peer Leader within the housing and homelessness sector, or are you interested in learning about becoming a Peer Leader? If so, this session is for you!
This initiative embraces participation and input from people with lived experience/s of housing insecurity and/or homelessness who are interested in Peer Leadership.
Peer Leaders are tenants and service users who are trained and supported to have meaningful input to policy, programs and service delivery. They can also play a role in community education, speaking engagements, and consultation events.
Come along and share your wisdom, skills, knowledge and experience of Peer Leadership and also hear from, and build connections with, others who are interested in developing/growing their Peer Leadership skills. Whether you have existing/ongoing Peer Leadership experience and knowledge, or no prior experience at all, you are invited to attend and we will collaboratively learn and grow our skills and knowledge of Peer Leadership together.
A complimentary light lunch will be provided, therefore please specify any special dietary requests when registering to attend. Thank you.
