Are you ready to make a real difference in people’s lives? As a Senior Housing Officer in Toowoomba, you’ll assist your team delivering essential social housing and homelessness services. From managing complex tenancy reviews and providing housing assistance to representing the department in appeals, your work will have a meaningful impact every day. What will you be doing?
In this dynamic role, you’ll assist your team to deliver essential services to diverse customer groups. You’ll oversee tenancy reviews, process housing assistance applications, and find effective solutions to complex cases. You’ll also collaborate with stakeholders, resolve complaints, and represent the department in appeals and tribunals.
Fieldwork is a regular part of this role, requiring flexibility, vigilance, and a proactive approach to managing risk. Each day will be different, and every task will contribute to creating better outcomes for Queenslanders in need.
