The role
Your responsibilities will include leading the implementation of Council’s response to people experiencing homelessness, including the facilitation of referrals to State Government departments and local support services. You will be required to develop and implement innovative and best practice initiatives that respond to community safety issues including, but not limited to: homelessness, hoarding and squalor, domestic and family violence.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must hold a degree qualification in a relevant field along with experience in the development and facilitation of strategic partnerships with diverse stakeholders. You will also have highly developed people and relationship skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, communicate and motivate effectively at all levels of the organisation and contribute to a positive work environment with a strong focus on provision of quality customer service.

Council’s office locations have local parking on-site and are in close proximity to public transport networks.
Work Location
Please note that whilst the current work location for this position is specified above, staff may be required to transfer to any of council’s work locations with notice. Council currently has administration offices located at Caboolture, Strathpine and Redcliffe as well as depots, libraries and a range of other facilities located throughout the region.
