About the role
As our Housing Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing case management services for households in crisis. Reporting to the Regional Coordinator, you will complete a variety of challenging and rewarding tasks that directly impact the lives of individuals and families.
You will assess and prioritise client’s needs, develop and maintain case management plans and assist with household budgeting. These you will undertake for the primary goal of supporting clients to transition to suitable longer term housing solutions. You will also be responsible for completing monthly and annual reports as well as conducting and implementing risk assessments and strategies.
The position entails home visits and providing mobile support to families in crisis accommodation in the North Brisbane and Logan regions from an office base of Kenmore.

With well-developed communication skills you liaise comfortably with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You are a problem solver, capable of troubleshooting on your feet.
