This newly created role is responsible for being the initial point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders and the provision of secretarial and administrative support to IYS staff as required. For external stakeholders, the Intake and Administration Worker acts as the initial contact, conducting a needs assessment and providing appropriate internal or external referral. In this capacity, the Intake and Administration Worker provides short term support, including information, advice and referral, to assist clients to develop key relationships with case managers and other agencies and develop a strong working knowledge of programs and activities available within IYS as a whole, and in the wider community.
