 Job Description

The role

  • Deliver high quality coaching and support services to Artius clients presenting with mild- moderate mental health needs, and disabilities.
  • Providing the delivery of manualised, time-limited, structured psychological interventions via phone and face-to-face service contact.
  • Assisting in the delivery of appropriate NDIS services and client engagement.
  • Assisting in the provision of WorkCover return to work services and support.
  • Providing expert level care to all including vulnerable clientele from diverse backgrounds.
  • Be a proactive and an integral part of the team which could include: implementing strategies or service improvement ideas and responding to customer feedback to grow the referrals via interactions with our team.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary network in the provision of programs to deliver positive mental health outcomes across the region.

 Desired Skills and Experience

What we’re looking for

  • Must hold a Certificate IV in Mental Health (or higher) and a valid driver’s licence.
  • Current Blue and Yellow card or ability to obtain them.
  • Have experience in individual and group based psycho education and therapeutic programs.
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of evidence based, short term, solutions focused, psychological strategies.
  • Excellent relationship building skills and strong background working from a strengths based approach.
  • Ability to produce professional clinical documentation and notation in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Flexibility to work across different service streams and client groups.
  • Desire to have a diverse role and adapt to change.
