 Job Description

The role

  • Deliver a stepped-care approach to mental health intervention
  • Deliver high quality, evidence-based psychology services across a range of Artius programs helping others to reach their potential including but not limited to Better Access and Stepped Care.
  • Contributing to our multi-disciplinary team
  • Provide psychological support services and intervention strategies to Department of Justice
  • Responding to reporting requirements and clinical documentation.

 Desired Skills and Experience

What we’re looking for

  • Tertiary qualified in a behavioural science (Psychology, Accredited Mental Health Social Work, Accredited Occupational Therapy) and registered with the appropriate professional body (AHPRA or AASW);
  • Strong clinical interventions and assessment skills, particularly within either mental health areas, private practise and/or correctional facilities.
  • Previous experience in a private practice is advantageous, and it is imperative that you have sound clinical reporting skills and strong IT literacy skills.
  • You will need to have had practical experience and knowledge in client management and clinical intervention, working with vulnerable clientele from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of indigenous and multi-cultural environments would be an advantage.
  • Enthusiasm to engage in individual and group work in community and/ or correctional facilities.
