Do you want to see better outcomes for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness? Then join the Q Shelter team and be part of an exciting new service integration initiative!

The initiative will unfold in nine locations across Queensland and Q Shelter is currently recruiting five Regional Coordinators and a Team Facilitator to drive this initiative. These positions will be embedded across Brisbane, Mackay, Cairns and Logan. Other positions will be located and auspiced regionally and all regional coordinators will work as a collaborative team.

We’re looking for passionate people who can strengthen existing and emerging regional networks to focus on person-centred care coordination for people with complex needs.

This is a terrific opportunity to work with regional networks, peak bodies, and government to break down system barriers and drive improved practices that respond to the needs of vulnerable Queenslanders.

Staff in these positions will be expected to work within a culturally appropriate framework.

Regional Coordinators (Brisbane, Logan, Cairns and Mackay)

SCHADS Level 6

These twelve-month positions report to the Team Facilitator. They will facilitate regional leadership and collaboration to reduce homelessness and sustain housing outcomes. They will assist regional networks to develop person-centred care coordination in relation to people with complex needs. This role will provide facilitation and secretariat support for regional networks. Successful applicants will demonstrate skills and proven success in community engagement and capacity building.
