Over the months of July and August five CHHII information and training sessions were rolled out to the 12 member organisations that make up the CHHII model of coordinated care. The roll out was in preparation for the first CHHII Panel meeting scheduled for late August. These sessions were very well attended and it was a pleasure working with the sector to move towards getting the CHHII initiative up and running.
Thankyou to Access Community Housing Company, Anglicare Nth Qld, Education Queensland, Department of Housing and Public Works, SHAC (Shelter Housing Action Cairns), WuChopperen, Mission Australia, The Women’s Centre, Youthlink, St Vincent de Paul, Queensland Police Service and Queensland Health for your ongoing commitment to the CHHII model of coordinated care and improving service delivery to people who are, or are at risk of homelessness in the Cairns region.
