Townsville Service Integration Update

The Townsville Service Integration Coordinator has been facilitating a collaborative working group with key partners including the Housing Service Centre, PBRT, Townsville City Council, Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, Red Cross and Anglicare, focussing on finding long term and sustainable housing for people who have been sleeping rough for many years in an area of Townsville.

A number of people in this area have been housed with ongoing case management support being provided by mobile support or outreach services to support the transition from years long homelessness into stable housing.
