Abstract

The Moreton Bay Creative Communities (MBCC) Projects Funding model, through the Local Level Alliance (LLA) collaboration framework, will support the identification of local emerging needs and service gaps within the region. Through funded partnerships, these time-limited projects will deliver support services to families to reduce harm, or risk of harm, to children and young people, prevent crises or problems arising or escalating within families, and stabilise or maintain family wellbeing.

Project funding will closely link to the LLA priorities to enable the establishment and strengthening of connections between local services and community members of the Moreton Bay region. The assessment criteria for funded projects will align with themes of improving the wellbeing and safety of children, young people and their families, and prevent entry or re-entry to the statutory child protection system.

Moreton Bay Creative Community Grants application opens Monday, 13 January 2020 and closes Friday, 7 February 2020. Please forward your completed application to moretonbaycreativecommunities@mercycs.org.au. Please note, these projects will need to be finalised by 30th June 2020, unless otherwise discussed and approved.

Please note, you may be required to discuss your application via phone with the panel on Wednesday, 12 February 2020.
