Sarah Nelson provided this submission at the invitation of the Inquiry Chair, Mr Jason Falinski, MP.

Sarah’s introduction continues “I’m writing this submission as someone whose life has been dramatically impacted by the lack of appropriate and affordable housing. I was one of the 100 homeless young people who testified at the Burdekin Royal Commission into Youth Homelessness in the late 1980’s. I was homeless from age 14-22 and the impact on my life from an economic, productivity and participation standpoint has been catastrophic.”
