Renters struggling with the cost of living crisis will soon be able to buy prefabricated homes and have them up in 12 weeks.
The Commonwealth Bank will make it easier for Australians to finance and build prefabricated homes, which can be built in 12 weeks, involve less labour, and are cheaper than traditional building methods.
Under the construction method, manufacturers build components off-site in a controlled indoor environment, like a factory, before they are transported onto site for construction and assembly.
