The organisers of a housing and homelessness conference in the City of Moreton Bay next month hope participants will leave feeling informed, connected and energised.

Chameleon Housing CEO Carmel Riethmuller says the conference will shine a light on the ‘housing first’ model, with the keynote address being delivered by Professor Cameron Parsell UQ, discussing how to respond to people who are homeless.

Free Legal Advice for Moreton Bay Residents Impacted by Floods

Flood-affected residents can access free legal support through the Pine Rivers Community Legal Service (PRCLS) at its walk-in clinic at Kallangur Neighbourhood Centre on Friday 15 July from 9am-3pm.  

Solicitors at the pop-up flood clinic will be available to assist anyone impacted by the floods with a range of legal issues, including housing and tenancy, property or vehicle damage and insurance, fencing and tree disputes, debt, family separation, domestic and family and violence, and more.
