About Community Housing Futures

Community Housing Futures is a collaboration between three Queensland peak and industry organisations: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Housing QueenslandCommunity Housing Industry Association (CHIA) Qld, and Queensland Shelter (Q Shelter).

At a time when more Queenslanders are challenged by housing affordability and availability, Community Housing Futures is collaborating in to deliver a new capacity building program funded by Queensland Treasury and designed to support community housing providers achieve growth in housing supply.

The purpose of the Program is to improve the long-term viability and financial strength of Queensland community housing organisations (CHOs) by enhancing and supporting access to training, education, tools and specialist business advisory services.

How to make contact

Community Housing Futures is establishing an Industry Reference Group so this Program of work is informed by industry needs and ideas. Community Housing Providers are eligible to express interest.

Community Housing Providers interested in more information about the products, tools and services that will be available are strongly encouraged to provide contact details so a member of the Team can make contact.
