A group of Wakerley residents is trying to prevent a local church from building 44 affordable housing units on its own land.
Chatsworth MP Steve Minnikin says the former state government tried to “ram through affordable housing” without community consultation.
Peter Bingham is trying to prevent his local church from building affordable housing for low-income residents.
Mr Bingham is one of the Wakerley residents attempting to block the “inappropriate” two-storey development on a largely empty block of church land.
