About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to lead our dedicated Case Management team within the Sustaining Tenancies program. This full-time role (fixed term until 30 June 2026) is ideal for someone who is passionate about housing stability, community connection, and effective service delivery.
You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to case managers as they deliver client-centred, trauma-informed, and strengths-based interventions. This role is central to ensuring high-quality service outcomes, team development, and effective collaboration with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of case managers providing intake, assessment, case planning and ongoing tenancy support.
- Oversee consistent, high-quality, and outcome-focused case management practice.
- Guide and mentor staff to build capacity, resilience, and professional growth.
- Maintain strong relationships with partner organisations, government agencies, and community networks.
- Ensure compliance with reporting, data collection, and service quality standards.
- Contribute to program development, continuous improvement, and service innovation.
About You
You are an experienced and compassionate leader with a strong background in housing, homelessness, or community services. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring a calm, solution-focused approach to complex challenges.
To be successful, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, human services, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading a case management or community services team.
- Strong knowledge of housing and homelessness systems and the barriers faced by people with complex needs.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- A client-centred approach and commitment to trauma-informed practice.
- Current driver’s licence, National Police Check, and Working with Children Check.
