About the role:

The Housing Officer plays a key role in supporting Council’s social housing tenants and applicants. You will provide high quality customer service and effective tenancy management while ensuring Council’s social housing policies and procedures are followed.

Working closely with tenants and community members, you will help maintain sustainable tenancies, assist applicants through the housing process, and contribute to maintaining safe and well-managed housing assets.

As the Housing Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing social housing tenancies and rent monitoring.
  • Supporting tenants experiencing rental arrears.
  • Assisting community members with housing applications.
  • Conducting inspections and coordinating maintenance requests.
  • Maintaining tenancy records and housing registers.
