This position also entails home visits and providing mobile support to families within crisis and emergency accommodation. Location is based across Brisbane, Logan and Ipswich regions.
You will:

What you will bring to our team:
You are a highly organised, self-reflective professional with strong critical thinking skills and a passion for supporting individuals and families to sustain safe housing. Experience in conducting assessments, working within multidisciplinary teams, and building collaborative relationships with external providers will be highly valued.
Your qualifications and experience should include:
- Degree qualification in social work, psychology, social sciences or a related discipline, or Diploma of Community Services.
- 5 years’ experience in relevant social service work.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the housing and homelessness landscape, including service systems, referral pathways, and support frameworks.
- Highly skilled in conducting thorough client intakes and risk assessments, ensuring accurate identification of needs, risks, and appropriate interventions.
- A current, clean driver’s license is essential.
- Experience working with people from diverse, social and economic disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Current National Police and Working with Children (Blue Card) check or the ability to acquire is essential.
