Networks

Regional housing and homelessness networks operate across Queensland.

These networks exchange information, services, ideas, opportunities, learn and share experiences while building connections of mutual benefit and reciprocity between individuals, groups, and agencies.

They also often work together to achieve change and influence public policy and programs.

Case coordination groups also operate across Queensland to bring housing providers, specialist homelessness services and other support agencies together to develop integrated housing and support plans with the goal of ending homelessness.

Q Shelter also hosts several networks with a focus or membership that have some interests in common. These include asset managers as well as CEO and Senior Leadership Groups.

Peer leadership sessions for tenants and people with lived experience of housing insecurity, homelessness and/or social housing tenancies.
This national working group is made up of policy leaders, expert practitioners and senior academic researchers from every state and the ACT. The group aims to identify, consider, advocate and develop national policy solutions to address the needs of older women living with housing insecurity and homelessness in Australia.
